(Very Special Old Pale) bottling is aged for at least four years at Habitation Clément and bears the protected designation of origin AOC Martinique, which guarantees the highest quality standards. The Clément Rhum Vieux Agricole V.S.O.P. is initially aged in ex-Bourbon casks made of American oak and is subsequently finished in selected new American oak casks. This combination gives the rum its balanced structure and elegant aroma. At 40% ABV, this Rhum Vieux Agricole is smooth, harmonious and complex. The extended cask ageing brings out subtle notes of mocha, cocoa, candied orange, vanilla and coconut, which perfectly complement the fresh character of the sugar cane distillate. The high quality of this bottling was also recognised with a bronze medal at the IWSC 2020.
