The Kerschbaum Cuvée Impresario 2021, 14% ABV, in a 1.5-litre magnum bottle, is one of Austria’s most prestigious red wine cuvées and epitomises the signature style of the renowned Weingut Kerschbaum in Burgenland. Since its first bottling, the Impresario has been regarded as the estate’s flagship wine, combining power, elegance and exceptional ageing potential. The 1.5-litre magnum bottle is ideal for special occasions and, thanks to its larger size, offers the perfect conditions for slow and harmonious ageing.


The cuvée is composed of 60% Blaufränkisch, 20% Zweigelt, 15% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Following careful hand-harvesting, the grapes are processed with particular care and fermented on the skins for 24 days to optimally extract colour, structure and aromatics. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for 18 months exclusively in new oak barrels, which gives it its impressive depth, complexity and elegance. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., the 2021 vintage is powerful, harmonious and offers excellent ageing potential – a great Austrian red wine for discerning connoisseurs.
