Nikka From the Barrel Double Matured Blended Whisky 51.4% ABV 0.5 l + GB is one of Nikka Whisky’s best-known and most internationally award-winning bottlings. Its philosophy is to present whisky as unadulterated as possible and at its natural cask strength. To achieve this, over 100 different malt and grain whiskies – including malt whiskies from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, as well as the distinctive Coffey grain whiskies – are carefully blended together. The distinctive square 0.5 l bottle, whose design is known as ‘A Small Block’, emphasises the concentrated and powerful character of this iconic bottling. After blending, the whisky is left to mature together in casks for several months.
