Description
Joseph Bishop, founder of the Finsbury Distillery in London's Finsbury district, is considered the inventor of the famous Finsbury Gin. In the late 19th century, during the heyday of the Commonwealth, the English took the reputation of this gin out into the world and made it an international symbol of the British art of distillation. With this rise of cocktail culture in the 1920s, gin experienced a new popularity - and Finsbury came to epitomise the English way of life.
Finsbury Platinum defines luxury and purity in the world of London Dry Gin. Its unmistakable quality is based on a well-guarded recipe dating back to 1740, which has characterised the essence of the brand for generations. Only the finest grains are used in its production and it is distilled six times in copper pot stills in a meticulous process.
The result is a gin of impressive clarity and smoothness that perfectly reveals its sophistication.
