The Balvenie 12 Years Old Double Wood 40% Vol. 0.05 l is the miniature edition of one of the most famous single malt Scotch whiskies from the renowned Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside. Since 1892, the distillery has stood for traditional craftsmanship, its own malting floors and whisky production characterised by the utmost care. With the Double Wood, The Balvenie has created a bottling that has a particularly complex character thanks to its maturation in two different types of cask.


The whisky first matured for many years in classic ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, which lend it notes of vanilla and honey. It was then matured in European sherry casks, which gave it additional depth, flavour and fruity nuances. At 12 years old, it is one of the distillery's classics and is an excellent whisky for connoisseurs and beginners alike.
