The Gran Cruz Porto LBV 2003, 20% ABV, 0.75 l, is a powerful and complex Late Bottled Vintage port from Portugal, hailing from the famous Douro Valley. Produced by the long-established Cruz winery, this LBV Port is characterised by depth, structure and intense fruit aromas typical of high-quality Ports from the Douro. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards and are processed immediately after hand-harvesting to preserve their freshness and aromatic quality.


Following careful selection, the grapes are gently crushed and fermented at controlled temperatures. The wine is then left to mature on the fine lees for several months, during which time it develops additional complexity and structure.
