Description
Teeling Irish Whiskey Rum Cask is characterised by an exceptionally high malt content, a rare quality that gives it a particularly distinctive flavour. Maturation takes place in two carefully coordinated stages: first, grain and malt whiskies are stored separately in ex-bourbon casks, maintaining a specific ratio of 3:1 in favour of the grain.
This initial maturation phase, which can last up to six years, allows the whiskies to develop their individual flavours and character traits. The whiskies are then blended in small batches and undergo a final finish in carefully selected American rum casks. This final maturation gives Teeling Irish Whiskey Rum Cask its complex depth and rich aroma, making it unique in the world of Irish whiskies.
