Bulleit Rye Small Batch American Whiskey pays homage to America’s rich whisky-making heritage and is one of the finest rye whiskies on the market. Produced with an exceptionally high rye content of 95 per cent, this whisky is characterised by a distinctive spiciness, paired with a harmonious sweetness and complex aromas.

The story behind Bulleit Rye is just as fascinating as the whisky itself. By founding the Bulleit Distillery, Tom Bulleit fulfilled a long-cherished dream – inspired by his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, who created a unique bourbon as far back as the 19th century. Tom Bulleit gave up his secure job, risked everything and breathed new life into the old family recipe – a decision which, as he himself said, he has never regretted.

Bulleit Rye is matured for between 5 and 7 years in new, heavily charred American oak casks, giving it an intense depth and robust woody notes. Its distinctive canteen-style bottle is reminiscent of the American War of Independence and the soldiers who carried their drinks in similar bottles at the time. Thanks to its exceptional quality, Bulleit Rye was named Spirit of the Year at the 2014 Mixology Bar Awards and is now one of the most popular rye whiskies worldwide.
