Blue Mauritius Gold is a premium rum-based spirit from Mauritius that combines the tropical character of this island nation in the Indian Ocean with a particularly smooth and approachable style. It is made from rum distilled from sugarcane molasses, which is then further refined to form the basis for this distinctive spirit. Thanks to its long tradition of sugarcane cultivation, Mauritius has a rich history in the production of sugarcane distillates. Blue Mauritius Gold draws on this heritage and combines it with a composition focused on harmony and smoothness. At 40 per cent ABV in the 0.7-litre bottle, this bottling is aimed particularly at lovers of aromatic rum-based spirits who prefer a smooth yet multi-layered character.

Blue Mauritius Gold 0.7 l is characterised by its combination of tropical-fruity, sweet and spicy notes. The underlying distillates made from sugarcane molasses provide structure and depth, whilst the subsequent ageing process shapes the bottling’s distinctive style. A classic age statement is not the main focus here. Instead, Blue Mauritius Gold concentrates on a balanced overall profile and a smooth texture. Its Mauritian origin, the rum base and the striking bottle design are among the key features of this internationally renowned speciality. Blue Mauritius Gold thus offers an interesting alternative for connoisseurs who, alongside classic sugarcane spirits, wish to discover refined and aromatic rum-based spirits.
