Description
Deanston VIRGIN OAK Highland Single Malt is created by blending young Highland whiskies that have been matured in oak casks. Deanston’s whisky creation team selects the finest casks made from untreated American oak, in which the Deanston matures for 9–12 months. The casks for the Virgin Oak come from the Kelvin Cooperage, a Glasgow-based cooperage in Kentucky, and are toasted and heavily charred before being delivered to the Deanston Distillery. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.
