Raki, Turkey’s renowned national drink, is an indispensable part of Turkish festivities. Whether it’s a relaxed meal with friends at home, a large celebration or dinner at a restaurant – raki enriches every social gathering with its distinctive flavour.

This prized spirit boasts a tradition stretching back some 300 years and is produced in Anatolia from carefully selected ingredients: aniseed, pure white granulated sugar and soft spring water. These components give raki its unmistakable aroma and delicate flavour.

In the first stage of the distillation process, selected grape varieties from Anatolia are processed. These grapes are harvested when ripe, dried and then fermented. In the subsequent second stage of distillation, high-quality Suma Pimpinella aniseed is added to the resulting Suma. The Álá undergoes a maturing process in oak barrels, which gives it its unique aroma and characteristic flavour.
