Nestled amongst picturesque orchards and vineyards lies the historic Hödl Hof distillery, which has been dedicated to the traditional Styrian art of distillation for generations. Here, fine spirits are produced to the highest standards of quality – from the careful selection of the fruit right through to perfect maturation.

Production follows the double distillation process, using a 300-litre rough distillation still and a 200-litre fine distillation still, both made of pure copper. This traditional method ensures that only the high-proof ‘heart’ of the distillate is extracted. This is then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel to allow its full aroma to develop.

The Hödl Hof Blackcurrant Spirit combines the finest blackcurrant distillate with high-quality wheat distillate and fresh blackcurrant juice. Natural ingredients round off the flavour profile and give this fruit spirit its distinctive character. With an alcohol content of 33% vol., it is a fruity, mild speciality with intense berry aromas.
