The Bowmore Vault Edition Atlantic Sea Salt First Release is an outstanding single malt from the legendary Bowmore Distillery, the oldest distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. This limited-edition special release was created as the first release in the Vault Edition range and embodies Bowmore’s distinctive maritime character – characterised by salty sea air, peaty smoke and deep, complex flavours.

The name ‘Vault Edition’ refers to Bowmore’s famous No. 1 Vaults Warehouse, one of the oldest warehouses in Scotland. Situated directly on the rugged coast of Islay, it allows for particularly intense maturation due to the constant influence of the maritime climate. The combination of this unique maturation and the classic Bowmore smokiness makes this whisky a true rarity.

With an alcohol content of 51.5% vol. at cask strength, the Atlantic Sea Salt offers an intense and unfiltered tasting experience that captures Bowmore’s maritime character in its purest form.
