The history of the Hödl Hof distillery dates back to 1542. In 1966, Franz and Gisela Dunst took over the farm and converted the business to fruit and wine growing.

Alfred Dunst founded a commercial fruit distillery in 1993 and focussed exclusively on schnapps. In 2002, he took over the fruit and forestry business.

A variety of herbs, flowers, seeds and roots from our neighbouring and beautiful Joglland region give this herbal speciality its unforgettable tangy taste.

Covered with old distillates of gentian and rowanberry, this bitter is exceptionally digestible. According to folklore, a glass of herbal liqueur can prevent the odd stomach twinge.
