Dos Maderas 5+3 Years Old Double Aged Rum is a unique premium rum which, thanks to its special ageing process, develops exceptional depth and smoothness. Produced from a high-quality blend of Caribbean rums from Barbados and Guyana, it undergoes a two-stage ageing process that gives it its distinctive character. First, the rum is aged for five years in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks, before being finished for a further three years in sherry casks in Spain. This so-called ‘double-ageing’ process, which takes place at the famous Bodega Williams & Humbert, ensures a harmonious fusion of tropical fruitiness and gentle sherry sweetness.

With an alcohol content of 37.5% vol., this rum is particularly smooth and approachable, without losing any of its depth of flavour. The combination of spicy oak barrel ageing in the Caribbean and sweet, complex sherry finishing in Europe makes it a versatile treat for rum lovers.
