Vana Tallinn True Estonian rum-based spirit is an authentic example of Estonian distilling craftsmanship and a symbol of the Baltic region’s culture of indulgence. Its history began in 1960, when, at the historic Liviko distillery in Tallinn, the legendary master liqueur maker Ilse Maar and her team, after countless experiments, discovered the perfect blend. The result was a composition that was completely novel at the time, made from high-quality Caribbean rum, fine spices and exotic citrus fruits – a combination that remains unique to this day.


This premium rum-based spirit is produced according to the original, unaltered recipe and embodies the fusion of Caribbean spirit with Nordic craftsmanship. The robust rum forms the backbone, whilst vanilla, cinnamon, lemon, orange, star anise and caramel provide a sweet and spicy aroma. The result is a full-bodied, harmonious and distinctive drink at 40 % ABV, which impresses with its depth, balance and aromatic complexity.
