Description
The Tomintoul Distillery, situated in the Scottish Highlands within the Cairngorms National Park and named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, opened its doors in 1964 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.
Situated at an altitude of 370 metres above sea level, Tomintoul is Scotland’s second-highest distillery, surpassed only by the Braeval Distillery, which was founded in 1973. Although the majority of the 3.2 million litres of spirit produced annually is exported to the United States for use in blends, Tomintoul regularly releases special single-cask bottlings.
The Tomintoul 10 Years Old is matured exclusively in hand-selected ex-bourbon casks made of American oak, which gives it a refined and balanced character. This single malt is a favourite in the Tomintoul range and has been awarded medals at several prestigious spirits competitions worldwide for its outstanding flavour.
Awards:

- BRONZE in 2016 at The International Wine & Spirit Competition
