By the Dutch Dry Gin is produced at the renowned, long-established Herman Jansen distillery and combines classic gin recipes with innovative ingredients. Particularly noteworthy is the addition of malt wine, a unique element normally used in genever production, which lends the gin a special depth and complexity. This gin is based on a careful combination of eight hand-selected botanicals, including juniper, coriander, lemon peel, blood orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf.

Production involves several stages, with each of the botanicals macerated individually in grain spirit and then distilled a second time. After distillation, the botanicals are combined with the malt wine, water and further grain spirit to create By the Dutch Dry Gin. This meticulous and precise production method results in a gin with a harmonious balance between fruity citrus notes, spicy accents and a smooth texture, perfectly rounded off by the malt wine.

With an alcohol content of 42.5% vol., this gin offers a robust yet balanced flavour profile that shines both when enjoyed neat and in cocktails.
