By the Dutch Dry Gin is produced in the renowned traditional distillery Herman Jansen and combines classic gin recipes with innovative ingredients. Of particular note is the addition of malt wine, a unique element normally used in the production of genever, which gives the gin a special depth and complexity. This gin is based on a careful combination of eight hand-picked botanicals, including juniper, coriander, lemon peel, blood orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf.

Production takes place in several stages, with each of the botanicals being individually macerated in grain alcohol and then distilled a second time. After distillation, the botanicals are combined with the malt wine, water and further grain alcohol to create By the Dutch Dry Gin. This careful and precise production method ensures a gin with a harmonious balance between fruity citrus notes, spicy accents and a soft texture that is perfectly rounded off by the malt wine.

With an alcohol content of 42.5% vol., this gin offers a strong but balanced flavour structure that cuts an outstanding figure both neat and in cocktails.
