Hands on Gin Small Batch is an organically produced dry gin with an alcohol content of 46.5 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle. It was developed by David Gölles, whose philosophy consistently follows the motto ‘less is more’. Whilst many gins utilise a wide variety of botanicals, Hands on Gin deliberately focuses on just five carefully selected ingredients, with each botanical making a clearly distinguishable contribution to the overall aroma. The botanicals are macerated in a white rum distilled specifically for this gin and then gently processed. The result is an exceptionally well-structured small-batch gin which, despite its minimalist recipe, unfolds a remarkable diversity of flavours.


The five botanicals include juniper, blackcurrants, fresh coriander leaves, lemongrass and orange peel. Juniper forms the spicy, fresh foundation, whilst blackcurrants lend a subtle fruity depth. Freshly chopped coriander leaves provide a juicy spiciness, lemongrass introduces lively notes of lemon, green pear and young rhubarb, and orange peel harmoniously rounds off the flavour profile with a delicate bittersweet citrus note. The result is an organic gin that impresses with its clarity, balance and the authentic expression of each individual botanical.
