The Bushmills Distillery, situated in picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the world’s oldest licensed whisky distillery. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips was granted the first licence to produce whisky in the region. For over 400 years, the art of whiskey production has been nurtured here at the Bushmills Distillery and passed down from generation to generation.

Jose Cuervo and Bushmills have launched the ‘Steamship Collection’, an exclusive range for the duty-free market, inspired by the SS Bushmills, a 125-year-old steamship. In 1890, this ship marked the beginning of Bushmills’ international trade, particularly with the USA and Asia. Bushmills Char Bourbon Cask Reserve from this series is the third release and is matured exclusively in charred first-fill Kentucky bourbon casks.

This anniversary whisky commemorates the 125th anniversary of the historic trading voyage and celebrates the distillery’s rich tradition.
