The Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of Scotland’s oldest and most renowned whisky distilleries. It is situated in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland, making it Scotland’s northernmost distillery. Surrounded by rugged countryside and stormy seas, Highland Park whisky reflects the unique climatic conditions of the Orkney Islands. Today, the distillery is part of The Edrington Group and produces around 2.5 million litres of whisky annually.

Highland Park Full Volume is a special creation by Highland Park’s Master Whisky Maker, inspired by the art of music. Just as musicians carefully harmonise their notes, the Master Distiller brings the flavour nuances of this whisky into harmonious balance.

Full Volume is composed of whiskies that have been matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks. In 1999, 481 casks with a volume of 200–250 litres were filled, in which the whisky was Lagered at an alcohol content of 63.6 to 63.7 per cent by volume. Following filtration at around 4 °C, the whisky unfolds into a creamy, slightly smoky delight. Bottled in 2017, this whisky is presented without any added colouring and embodies pure craftsmanship.
