Admiral Rodney HMS FORMIDABLE Rare Saint Lucia Rum is a premium blended rum from St Lucia, renowned for its exceptional depth, full body and complex aroma. This premium rum is produced by the renowned St. Lucia Distillers, whose traditional rum-making craft is among the most highly regarded in the Caribbean. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. in a 0.7 l bottle, complete with a gift box, this bottling is aimed at discerning rum connoisseurs who appreciate a full-bodied and elegantly matured rum.

Admiral Rodney HMS FORMIDABLE is made using molasses-based distillates produced in a Coffey column still. The distillates are specifically sourced from the lower sections of the distillation column, resulting in particularly heavy, oily and aromatic fractions. Following distillation, the individual rums are aged for between nine and twelve years in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak. St Lucia’s tropical climate, characterised by high temperatures and high humidity, intensifies the interaction between the wood and the distillate and promotes exceptional maturation. The Master Blender then blends a harmonious premium blended rum from various casks of these age groups, combining power, elegance and complexity.
