The Kilchoman PORT CASK MATURED Single Malt Scotch Whisky Limited Edition 2024 is a strictly limited special release from the independent farm distillery, Kilchoman Distillery, and highlights the distillery’s experimental approach to cask maturation. For this edition, the whisky was matured exclusively in Ruby Port hogsheads throughout its entire ageing period, selected from two different age groups, with the youngest cask being six years old. This bottling was released at 50% ABV, ensuring that its structure, depth and cask character are preserved in their purest form. As is customary with Kilchoman, the whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without colouring agents; its intense natural colour derives exclusively from cask maturation.


The complete maturation in port casks gives the Kilchoman Port Cask Matured 2024 a distinctly unique character within the distillery’s portfolio. The maritime Islay style is retained, yet is enhanced and deepened by the deliberate use of Ruby Port hogsheads.
