Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin 40% ABV 1 l is a premium distilled dry gin from Italy that combines traditional gin-making history with modern Italian distilling techniques. The origins of gin date back to the Netherlands and are closely linked to the research of Franciscus de la Boe, who studied the properties of juniper oils. From there, gin made its way to Great Britain and developed into one of the world’s most significant categories of spirits. Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin is produced in the Veneto region and crafted exclusively from Italian botanicals. The ingredients include Tuscan juniper berries, sage leaves from the Triveneto region and lemon peel from Sicily, each of which is macerated separately in water and alcohol. Pure Alpine water is also used in the production process. Following the lengthy maceration period, a careful double distillation takes place, which removes any undesirable secondary notes and produces a particularly clear, elegant distillate. The quality of this dry gin is based not only on the selection of botanicals, but also on the precise conditions under which the aromatic compounds are extracted. At 40% ABV, this Italian gin is well-balanced, finely structured and long-lasting. The generous 1-litre bottle is ideal for bars, the hospitality industry and discerning home bars.
