Description
Trois Rivières CUVÉE DE L'OCÉAN rum, with an alcohol content of 42 per cent by volume and a bottle size of 0.7 litres, is an exceptional rhum agricole that has its roots in the history of the Caribbean island of Martinique. In the mid-17th century, a representative of the French Crown acquired large tracts of land on the island and established three vast sugar cane plantations there, which formed the basis for later rum production. At the start of the 20th century, the decisive step was taken from sugar production to the production of rhum agricole – a rum made not from molasses but from fresh sugarcane juice.
Trois Rivières rums are renowned for their unique production method using sugarcane juice, which gives them an intense freshness and rich aromas that clearly set them apart from other types of rum. The sugarcane for this CUVÉE DE L'OCÉAN is grown on the coast near Anse Trabaud beach. This unique terroir and the proximity to the sea give the rum a salty note, which defines its maritime-inspired aroma and character.
With its salty freshness, a smoother and more complex structure, and its intense sugar-cane notes, the Trois Rivières CUVÉE DE L'OCÉAN Rhum offers an exceptional tasting experience. Perfect for rum lovers who appreciate maritime notes and exquisite freshness.
