Delaforce Fine Ruby Port is a high-quality, classic Ruby Port produced from the finest grape varieties of the Douro Valley in Portugal. This region, steeped in tradition, is renowned for its first-class Ports, which are crafted using elaborate production methods and take years to reach full maturity. Delaforce’s Fine Ruby Port impresses with its deep ruby-red colour and intense fruitiness, which is typical of young Ruby Ports.
It is produced through the careful selection and blending of different vintages to create a harmonious yet powerful flavour profile. After fermentation, the wine matures for several years in large oak casks to develop its characteristic structure and depth. In the process, its fruity freshness is preserved, whilst it simultaneously gains a pleasant smoothness and balance. With an alcohol content of 20 % vol., this port offers a full-bodied and warming experience, making it an ideal companion for special occasions.
