Taylor’s 10 Years Old Tawny Port, 20% vol., in a 0.75 l bottle with a gift box, is one of the world’s best-known aged Tawny Ports and embodies the centuries-old port-making tradition of the renowned Taylor’s house. Although Taylor’s is primarily famous for its legendary Vintage Ports, the house also enjoys an excellent reputation for its high-quality Aged Tawny Ports, which develop exceptional elegance and complexity through long cask ageing.


Selected Port wines from the house’s extensive reserves are used to create this 10-year-old Tawny Port. The wines mature for many years in traditional, previously used oak casks with a capacity of around 630 litres. During this long ageing period, the wine develops its characteristic amber hue and the typical aromas of mature Tawny Ports. The slow oxidation in the wood lends it additional depth, finesse and a remarkably smooth texture. The casks are stored in Taylor’s famous lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, where conditions are ideal for harmonious ageing. The result is a premium Tawny Port ready to drink immediately, which impresses with its balance of fruit, maturity and elegance, and ranks among the best-selling 10-year-old Tawny Ports in the UK.
