R74 Small Batch Alpine Rum is an exceptional rum, produced from sugar cane molasses and distinguished by its unique ageing and distillation processes. This rum is distilled using a double-distillation process in small copper stills, which gives it an exceptionally fine and complex profile. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and a volume of 0.7 litres, the R74 Alpine Aged is a three-year-old rum that matures in barrique casks previously used to age the Caldiff Gravensteiner apple brandy using the Solera method. This special ageing process in casks that have already absorbed the fruity character of the apple brandy lends the rum a unique aroma and depth.
