The Dictador BEST OF 1987 ALTISIMO Colombian Rum is an exclusive 30-year-old vintage bottling from Colombia, with an alcohol content of 45 per cent, in a 0.7-litre bottle. The rum forms part of the prestigious Dictador Best of Collection, for which specially selected and long-aged reserves from the company’s own stocks have been chosen. The label 30YO/050317/EX-W348 provides additional information about this individual bottling and emphasises its special collector’s status. The focus is on the 1987 vintage, whose long maturation process gives the rum a distinctly different character compared to Dictador’s regular bottlings.

Within the ‘Best of Collection’, the designation ‘ALTISIMO’ signifies a particularly exclusive selection. With its stated age of 30 years and the specific cask designation EX-W348, this premium Colombian rum is aimed in particular at connoisseurs, collectors and enthusiasts of rare vintage rums. The long ageing period allows for the intense development of woody, toasty and fruity notes, whilst the 45% ABV bottling strength preserves sufficient structure for an expressive character. It is precisely the combination of the 1987 vintage, 30 years’ ageing and the individual cask reference that makes the Dictador Best of Altisimo an exceptional rarity within the extensive Dictador portfolio.
