The Dictador BEST OF 1980 APASIONADO Colombian Rum 37YO/260917/EX-P115 is an exceptional 37-year-old rum rarity from Colombia, with an alcohol content of 41 per cent, presented in a 0.7-litre bottle. This bottling forms part of the exclusive Dictador Best of Collection, for which particularly old and carefully selected rum reserves have been chosen from the Colombian distillery’s stocks. The focus is on the 1980 vintage, whilst the designation 37YO/260917/EX-P115 clearly identifies this specific bottling within the extensive Best of Collection. The designation ‘APASIONADO’ represents a distinct selection within this premium range and distinguishes the rum from the ‘Extremo’ and ‘Altisimo’ editions.

With its certified age of 37 years, the Dictador Best of 1980 Apasionado is aimed in particular at collectors and connoisseurs seeking exceptionally old Colombian vintage rums. The long maturation period allows for the intensive development of fruity, roasted and woody notes, whilst the comparatively moderate ABV of 41 % Vol. provides a harmonious framework. In particular, the combination of the 1980 vintage, the 37-year age statement and the unique reference number EX-P115 lends this bottling its distinctive character as a rare find. This makes the Dictador Apasionado not only of interest for exclusive rum tastings, but also as a rare collector’s item within the Dictador Best of Collection.
