The Dictador BEST OF 1981 APASIONADO Colombian Rum EXP-111 is an exclusive vintage rum rarity from Colombia, with an alcohol content of 44 per cent, in a 0.7-litre bottle. This bottling forms part of the renowned Dictador Best of Collection, which showcases specially selected and long-aged rum reserves from the Colombian distillery’s stocks. This variant focuses on the 1981 vintage, whilst the individual designation EXP-111 allows for clear identification within the series. The designation ‘APASIONADO’ denotes a distinct selection within the Best of Collection and sets this bottling apart from other lines such as Extremo and Altisimo. As such, this rare Dictador is aimed particularly at connoisseurs of unique vintage bottlings and collectors of premium Colombian rums.

The Dictador Best of 1981 Apasionado EXP-111 represents a carefully curated selection of matured rum reserves, whose extended time in the cask ensures a complex and mature character. At 44% ABV, this variant has a slightly higher alcohol content than some other Apasionado bottlings, thereby retaining its structure and intensity. In particular, the combination of the 1981 vintage, the unique reference EXP-111 and its inclusion in the limited-edition Dictador Best of series underlines its rarity. As there is no reliable age statement for this specific bottling, a specific age should not be inferred from the 1981 vintage alone. For collectors, therefore, the precise vintage and edition designation are of particular relevance.
