The Austrian Empire Navy Rum Oloroso Cask is a luxurious bottling that combines Caribbean rum tradition with a refined sherry cask finish. Produced by the renowned Albert Michler Distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, this premium rum is crafted from high-quality Caribbean molasses rums. It is matured for up to 21 years using the traditional Solera method, with an average age of 16 years.

This rum derives its exceptional complexity from double cask ageing: first, it matures in ex-bourbon casks, which impart gentle notes of vanilla and caramel. It is then finished for 12 to 16 months in ex-American Oloroso sherry casks, which impart additional fruity, spicy and nutty accents. This double maturation results in an incomparably deep interplay of aromas and an excellent balance between sweetness, spice and oak notes.
