Borghetti Espresso Liqueur 25% ABV, 0.7 l is a classic Italian coffee liqueur with a long tradition. In the 19th century, it was customary in Italy to enjoy coffee cold with a dash of alcohol. Inspired by this tradition, the coffee merchant Ugo Borghetti created this unique espresso liqueur in 1860 to mark the opening of the Italian railway line between Ancona and Pescara.

The liqueur is made from freshly roasted and ground Arabica and Robusta beans. The resulting espresso is then refined with alcohol and sugar in a labour-intensive process – without the addition of colourings or artificial flavourings. The result is an authentic, intense coffee liqueur that embodies the quintessential Italian way of life and puts everyone in a holiday mood.
