Izarra Vert Liqueur 40% Vol. 0.7 l is a traditional herbal liqueur from the French Basque Country, whose name translates as ‘star’. The recipe was developed in 1906 by the botanist Joseph Grattau and combines the aromatic diversity of 16 selected plants and herbs to create a distinctive speciality. In addition to classic botanicals, the liqueur also contains walnuts and celery, which further enrich its characteristic flavour. To this day, Izarra Vert remains one of the Basque Country’s best-known liqueurs and enjoys cult status, particularly in France.
