The Glen Grant Rothes Chronicles Cask Haven Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first release in the limited-edition Rothes Chronicles series from the long-established Glen Grant Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. The range is named after Rothes, the distillery’s home town. Cask Haven is also a tribute to the historic Warehouse No. 4, which was built by Major James Grant. The imposing, three-storey sandstone Lager is characterised by consistently cool conditions, which allow for the even and controlled maturation of the whiskies stored there. For this limited edition, Glen Grant has opted for a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and sherry casks, thereby bringing together two classic cask types used in Scotch whisky production.


Glen Grant Cask Haven carries no age statement; instead, it focuses on the cask selection and the history of the distillery and its warehouses. The first-fill bourbon casks and selected sherry casks complement Glen Grant’s characteristic Speyside style with diverse influences from cask maturation. This Speyside single malt Scotch whisky is bottled at a robust 46% ABV in a generous 1-litre bottle. As the first edition of the Rothes Chronicles Limited Range, Cask Haven also holds a special place within the series.
