The Darkness! 8 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Sherry Casks is an intense and complex whisky which, with an alcohol content of 47.8 % vol. and its deep sherry cask maturation, is a real highlight for lovers of full-bodied and aromatic malts. This bottling has been specially developed for fans of sherry-forward whiskies and impresses with an exceptionally deep and multi-layered flavour profile.

This 8-year-old single malt is initially matured in traditional ex-bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in particularly small Oloroso sherry octave casks. These special casks ensure a more intense absorption of aromas and lend the whisky its distinctive, dark and fruit-driven depth. The result is a powerful, spicy and multi-layered Scotch that impresses with notes of dark fruits, chocolate and robust oak.

The Darkness! 8 Years Old is bottled without chill filtration and in its natural colour to preserve the whisky’s full character. It is presented in an elegant gift box (UK), making it ideal as a stylish gift for whisky connoisseurs.

This whisky is a must-try for lovers of sherry-influenced malts and impresses with its intense cask maturation, exceptional depth and warming aromas – a true meisterwerk for connoisseurs!
