Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano Liqueur is an exceptional Chilean herbal liqueur from Mexico, which delights with its unique combination of fresh heat, smoky depth and natural herbal flavour. Produced using traditional, handcrafted methods, this liqueur is made from green Poblano chillies, which are harvested at the perfect stage of ripeness, roasted, chopped and carefully macerated. What makes it special is that the chillies are processed whilst still green – in contrast to the Ancho Reyes Original, which uses ripe, dried chillies.

After being roasted over an open fire, the Poblano chillies develop an intensely smoky note that harmonises perfectly with their natural freshness and slight sweetness. This is followed by a six-month maceration, during which the flavours infuse deeply into the spirit. The result is a complex, expressive liqueur with a balance of herbaceous notes, subtle citrus undertones, warmth, spices and the heat of green chillies.
