The Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano Liqueur is an exceptional chilli herb liqueur from Mexico that delights with its unique combination of fresh heat, smoky depth and natural herbal flavour. Made by hand using traditional methods, this liqueur is based on green poblano chillies, which are harvested, roasted, cut and carefully macerated at the perfect degree of ripeness. The speciality: The chillies are processed while still green - unlike the Ancho Reyes Original, which uses ripe, dried chillies.

After roasting over an open fire, the poblano chillies develop an intense smoky flavour that harmonises perfectly with their natural freshness and slight sweetness. This is followed by six months of maceration, during which the flavours are deeply infused into the spirit. The result is a complex, expressive liqueur with a balance of herbs, light citrus notes, warmth, spices and green chilli heat.
