Asbach GmbH, a renowned wine distillery in Rüdesheim am Rhein, uses only selected wines for its sophisticated rough and fine distillation process. The distillates are first matured in Limousin oak barrels and then in particularly air-permeable German oak barrels. These barrels offer the fine brandies optimum conditions to breathe and fully develop their flavours. A secret maturing and refining process gives each Asbach its radiant topaz colour and characteristic bouquet.

The bottle label is modelled on the original recipe from 1892, which the founder Hugo Asbach wrote down himself. The lion in the seal, the heraldic animal of the Asbach family, symbolises the courage of the founder as well as the strength and quality of the product.

With the Asbach Original 3 Years, the traditional Rüdesheim winery has now launched a new premium speciality on the market. This brandy is characterised by a maturation period of at least three years in oak barrels, which gives it its complex aromas and characteristic golden colour.
