The vineyards are situated in the renowned hills of the DOCG region between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The calcareous moraine soils, containing clay and, in places, calcareous clay, lend this Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry a delicate minerality and balanced structure. The vines are cultivated using simple trellis, double-arch and radial training systems, with around 2,500 vines per hectare. Following gentle whole-bunch pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place at 15–16 °C to optimally preserve the fresh fruit and floral aromas. With an alcohol content of 11% vol., the Villa Sandi Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG is elegant, fresh and harmoniously balanced.
