The Mata Hari Bitter absinthe is an exceptional absinthe from Austria that stands out from classic absinthes thanks to its high wormwood content and low aniseed flavour. Produced by the traditional Fischer distillery in Vienna, it is based on a recipe that is over 100 years old and, with 60% alcohol by volume, offers an intense and aromatic flavour experience. Unlike traditional absinthes, which are heavily dominated by aniseed, Mata Hari Bitter relies on a complex blend of wormwood, lemon balm, violet root, coriander, cinnamon and other aromatic herbs. This gives it a spicy floral note with a slightly bitter finish that emphasises its authenticity.
