The 15-year-old Macallan is part of Macallan’s Double Cask Range, a series of whiskies of various ages, including a 12-year-old and an 18-year-old single malt.

This particular whisky is matured for over 15 years in ex-European and American sherry casks, which gives it its unique flavour profile. During this long maturation period, the whisky absorbs the aromas and characteristics of the casks and develops the depth and complexity typical of Macallan.
