La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc 16% ABV, 0.75 l, is a premium French vermouth created by the renowned spirits maker Jean-Sébastien Robicquet. The vermouth Linie pays homage to Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye, the landscape architect to the French ‘Sun King’ Louis XIV, who designed the famous kitchen garden at Versailles. This historical heritage is also reflected in the design, as each bottle bears the Fleur de Lys, the heraldic symbol of the French monarchy. Launched in 2014, the vermouth collection is based on wines and Pineau des Charentes, a traditional blend of unfermented grape must and Eau-de-vie de Cognac from the IGP Charentais wine-growing region in south-west France. The composition is complemented by a carefully selected blend of 18 botanicals, including wormwood, vine blossoms and other aromatic herbs and spices. The Royal Blanc is then aged for twelve months in French oak barrels, which lends it additional depth and complexity.
