Inspired by the historic Blackpitts area, situated just behind the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery in the heart of Dublin, Teeling Whiskey Blackpitts Peated is being created. This area, renowned for its malting houses and barley malting facilities both in the past and today, plays a central role in the history and production of this unique whiskey.

The use of peat smoke to dry the barley gives this whiskey its distinctive smoky, charred aromas, which set it apart from others. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks as well as in ex-Sauternes white wine casks.
