The Macallan Distillers is one of the world’s most renowned whisky distilleries, known for its exceptional single malt whiskies since its foundation in 1824. Situated in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region, The Macallan is distinguished by its unrivalled commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The Macallan’s philosophy centres on achieving the perfect combination of wood and distillate. Every stage of production, from the selection of barley malt to maturation in hand-selected oak casks, is monitored with the utmost care. The Master of Wood and the Whisky Mastery Team ensure that every cask meets the highest standards.

The sixth and, it is expected, final edition of The Macallan series was inspired by the 173 km-long Scottish River Spey, a natural wonder that plays a key role in the uniqueness of The Macallan whiskies. This edition is deeply connected to the history of the region and its wildlife, including the endangered Atlantic salmon, which is native to the river.

The Macallan supports the Atlantic Salmon Trust, an organisation dedicated to conservation work in this region and raising public awareness. Steven Bremner, The Macallan’s master distiller, hand-selected all five casks for this edition and incorporated the region’s history into the production process.
