Wood Stork Spiced Rum is crafted from select ingredients, starting with sugar cane from South America. Once the molasses has been extracted from the sugar cane, it is carefully transported to the Black Forest. There, it undergoes a complex processing procedure to create the base for the rum.

In the Black Forest’s time-honoured distilleries, the rum is distilled in specially crafted copper stills. This method of distillation, known as the pot-still process, is particularly effective at preserving the natural flavours of the molasses. Compared to more modern methods, this classic process allows for a more intense development of flavour and results in a richer, fuller-bodied distillate.

The uniqueness of Wood Stork Spiced Rum stems not only from the traditional distillation method, but also from the careful selection of the spices used for flavouring.
