The 1423 S.B.S JAMAICA Experimental Cask Series 2020 is an exceptional rum tasting set from Jamaica, which allows you to compare the influence of different cask types on the same base spirit. The series comes from the independent bottler 1423 World Class Spirits and forms part of the S.B.S – Single Barrel Selection. The four bottlings are based on Jamaican DOK rum, a style particularly rich in esters and known for its intense and distinctive aroma. Rather than comparing different distillates, the Experimental Cask Series focuses on four different cask types. This allows the effects of the respective secondary maturation or cask ageing to be directly compared with one another.
