Matsui Gin THE HAKUTO Premium is a Japanese gin created by the historic Kurayoshi Distillery, which is renowned for its exceptional distillation methods and the use of first-class, natural ingredients. With a robust alcohol content of 47% ABV, this premium gin combines the purity of Japanese craftsmanship with a unique selection of carefully chosen botanicals, lending it an unmistakable depth and complexity.

Its name, Hakuto, is inspired by an ancient Japanese legend about a white hare and symbolises purity, elegance and sophistication. Distillation takes place using high-quality spring water from the mountains of Tottori, which is prized for its exceptional softness and clarity. The perfectly balanced blend of classic gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander and citrus peel is complemented by typically Japanese ingredients such as sakura blossoms, green tea, yuzu and sansho pepper. The result is a gin with an exceptional balance between floral, fresh and spicy-pungent flavours.
