Ukiyo Japanese Blossom Gin is an extraordinary tribute to the Japanese tradition of Hanami, the mindful appreciation of the sakura blossom. ‘Ukiyo’ means ‘the floating world’ and represents a mindset that celebrates living in the moment – and it is precisely this feeling that this gin perfectly captures with its floral elegance and gentle texture.

Produced in Kagoshima, in the imposing shadow of the active Sakurajima volcano, this gin is based on traditional Japanese shochu, a spirit distilled from rice. Re-distillation with carefully selected botanicals results in an exceptionally smooth gin that captures the essence of spring. Delicate notes of cherry blossom lend it a gentle floral sweetness, whilst fresh citrus fruits and classic juniper provide balance and depth.
